I have actual resolutions for next year. I know they’re cliche at this point and everyone says, “Don’t wait, change NOW!”, I still enjoy the concept of beginning anew at the first of the new year. One of my resolutions is to reduce my internet footprint. Meaning, deleting most of the stuff I’m signed up for. Most of it is unimportant.
One of the things I’m debating about getting rid of is Tumblr. I enjoy Tumblr a lot, but it’s nothing but endless scrolling, searching for something that will satisfy me. I feel like my tolerance for interesting or funny things is severely high, thanks to the internet. I rarely find things that make me laugh out loud.
On the other hand … Tumblr is pretty awesome. So I might keep it. I might even make it the frontpage or a side page for my next website design. I don’t know.
But my idea is to reduce everything as much as possible.
There’s no real point to this post, other than that I plan on doing that, and so I might not be around come New Years.
